The
Practice Team
We have a dedicated
team of staff who are here to help you in any way they can. Mrs Pauline Evison is the practice manager, responsible for the administration
and operation of the practice. She is assisted by Sally Goldsworthy and Stephanie Barnett who look after
the day-to-day running of the reception department and Mrs Suzanne Rees who heads
our computer department.

Nurses
Senior Nurse, Sister Christina Phillips RGN NDN Diploma in Diabetes, Diploma in Smoking Cessation, Diploma in Nursing in the Primary Care of minor Illness, Diploma in Nursing in The Primary Care of minor illness, Diploma in Erectile Dysfunction.
Sister Monica Evans RGN Diploma in Respiratory Health, Diploma in Diabetes, Diploma in Nursing in the Primary Care of minor illness.
Our practice nurses perform numerous tasks including infant and child immunisations, cervical smears, dressings, removal of sutures, travel advice and immunisations, ear syringing, blood pressure checks as well as offering healthy lifestyle advice and advice on chronic diseases such as asthma, diabetes and heart disease. Both nurses also offer a triage service. They will normally see patients who feel they need to be seen on the same day and will refer patients to a doctor if appropriate.
Our practice nurses are assisted by a health care assistant.
Appointments can be made for the above services through reception.
Clerical Staff
We have a team of experienced administrative staff. They will help you make appointments, take requests for home visits, give you the results of tests etc, process repeat prescriptions, type referral letters and keep our computer records up to date.
It is a legal requirement that confidentiality of patients' records is maintained at the highest level at all times.

In addition to our own staff the local NHS trust employs staff who work from our
surgery. This includes health visitors, counsellors and a team of phlebotomists. The practice is also supported by a team of district nurses but they work from a different building.
